The main entrance has a Schlage smart lock. Your unique door code is sent to you by email or text message on the day of arrival.
Once through the main gate, you'll see two doors — the first leads to the bedroom, and the second is the main house entrance.
Before You Settle In
Two king beds (one per bedroom) and a queen inflatable in the living area.
For your security, there are exterior cameras covering the entrance and outdoor areas. None inside the home.
Expect critters, dust, and the occasional bug in the pool. We clean the pool twice a week.

Saltwater Pool
The pool is saltwater and cleaned twice a week during high season. Pool floats are inside the house — feel free to use them anytime.
Want it heated?
Pool heating is available as an add-on for $350 per day. Call or text your host at 714-794-2566 in advance to arrange.
Jacuzzi
Three buttons. Two-hour timer. That's it.
Heads up
It is on a timer and will turn off every 60 minutes. The jacuzzi heats via underground propane — it's not instant. It takes about 35–40 minutes to fully heat up. You can restart the timer as many times as you want.
Barbecue Grill
No propane tanks to swap. Just push, click, and turn.
No gas coming through?
Check the yellow cord on the bottom of the grill and make sure it's in the ON position. That's almost always the fix.
Indoor Fireplace
Two things to know — where the switch is, and which remote works it.
Coffee & Bar Station
We provide locally grown coffee from Joshua Tree Coffee Company, along with a Keurig and a French press — so whatever your method, we've got you covered.
Pickleball
A full pickleball court is right outside. All paddles and balls are stored in the living room — under or next to the black table.
Bocce Ball
Bocce balls live with the pickleball gear in the living room — same black table.
Outdoor Fire Pit
Five quick steps and you're toasting marshmallows.
Heads up
The 30-minute auto timer will shut the fire off on its own — set it and forget it.
For Everyone's Comfort
10 PM – 8 AM. No loud music or disturbances.
Smoking allowed outside only. $300 fee for indoor smoking, vaping, or marijuana.
No candles or other open flames inside the house.
No bachelor/bachelorette stays or large gatherings. 18+ to book.
No diving. Never leave kids or pets unattended near the pool. Use at your own risk.
Dogs only (max 2, approved in advance, $40/pet/night).
⚠️ Never leave your pet outside — there are wild coyotes in the area.

Joshua Tree National Park is at your doorstep.
A loop through iconic rock formations. Great first hike for anyone visiting the park.
Loop with petroglyphs and a historic dam. Family-friendly.
Out-and-back to the best panoramic view in the park.
Short loop at golden hour — magical light.
Eat & Drink
Pastries and avocado toast. Local favorite for a slow morning.
French-inspired brunch. Worth the drive, expect a wait on weekends.
Downtown Joshua Tree, Saturday mornings only.
Iconic Pioneertown roadhouse with live music. Reservations recommended.
After Dark
Joshua Tree is a designated International Dark Sky Park — the Milky Way is visible most clear nights.
Slow Down
A 30-minute crystal-bowl sound bath in a wooden dome in Landers. Book in advance.
The jacuzzi under the stars is the easiest reset there is.
